Here is an excellent example of Tensho by the late Iha sensei of Jundokan that can be found here.
And a great example Suparempei by Wakugawa sensei of Shodokan can be found here.
Watch quietly and learn.
[Sorry imbedding was disabled for both of them].

Hate to reveal my ignorance on the topic…but what is ‘classic’ about performing Tensho with dynamic tension (like Sanchin)?
Classical in the sense that it is part of the original Goju-ryu curriculum and not a modern addition like Taikyoku. It wasn’t meant as a reference to how it’s performed
Hi Mario,
I’ve had the great plesure of watching both of these sensei demonstrate their karate a number of times over the years while in Okinawa,Iha sensei in particular.
How many have taken the opportunity to “Watch quietly and learn”…not many I suspect.
Mike
I never had the good fortune to meet these sensei but if I did I would have kept my mouth shut and watched. I might then have a chance of learning something. Unlike some non-Okinawan students that go to a dojo on Okinawa and have the “konjo” to not only correct the sensei’s students but contradict the sensei himself! It just makes you want to scream 駄っまて、見ろ!
